Our company always remains focus not only on producing high quality and safe products, but also on ensuring the sustainability of our operations and the perseverance of the environment surrounding our locations.

CP Prima understands that the most important part in producing a product is to focus on quality and safety. We have always ensured that our products, both fresh and frozen, are checked for their quality and are free from contamination like chemicals or bacteria. The adoption of traceability process is conducted to guarantee that no steps are left unmonitored. Our probiotics and feeds are free from antibiotics to make sure no environmental pollution is caused and at the same time increasing the quality of the livestock itself.

In our human food production operations, we understands that the most important part is the product quality and safety. We therefore always strive to ensure that all of our seafood products

  • Are produced and packaged under very strict and reliable quality monitoring system.
  • Are not contaminated with hazardous chemical substances such as antibiotics, or unacceptable level of other contaminants, and as such are fully safe for human consumption.

In our animal feed manufacturing operations, the quality monitoring system is comprehensively applied in all stages of the operations.

  • The incoming raw materials are comprehensively inspected, utilizing both sampling method and laboratory tests, either at the suppliers’ factories before shipment or at our feed mills.
  • The inventory of raw materials in our warehouses are regularly checked, and thoroughly tested prior to usage.
  • In line quality control is applied at all stages of  production inside our feed mills, and complete quality parameter data is properly documented for all batches of feed produced.
  • Final feed products are again checked against our standard quality parameters prior to distribution to the market agents / customers. 

In feed manufacturing, our quality system starts from the inspection of incoming raw materials, either at suppliers’ factories before shipment or at our feed mills, based on predetermined specifications, sampling method, and analysis in laboratory.  Raw materials in the warehouse are regularly checked to ensure that they are in good quality prior to usage, which always adopting the FIFO principle.   Accordingly, quality control is applied at certain critical stages during production. Final products are checked and must meet quality parameters prior to distribution.  All important production process and quality parameters are well documented and traceable.

Our company conducts routine internal audits in all our food processing plants and feed mill plants. In addition, we also regularly welcome external audit teams from global certification bodies and from our buyers and business partners to inspect our facilities. Any finding or improvement need identified during internal or external audits is immediately resolved to ensure that our facilities are always up to the highest standards of operational excellence. 

In particular, CPB Shrimp feed mill which produces shrimp feed for our shrimp farms is always externally audited based on various audit standards such as Global GAP, BAP (Best Aquaculture Practices) as well as audit procedures from customers such as SMETA, Mark & Spencer, Tesco, from which our CPB Shrimp feed mill has passed the certification standards.
