In an effort to fulfill the company's commitment to corporate social responsibility, through the community empowerment program CP Prima held a skills training which was held in September 2018 at the Bina Siwi orphanage, which is located in the Bantul area as the chosen place.
The training provided is in the form of skills to make toys and pet accessories, namely cats. To simplify the training process, CP Prima brought in two teachers from Sanggar Brawijaya Yogyakarta. A total of 39 orphanage children were given training in skills and work tools, and raw materials for making toys and pet accessories.
The training was conducted twice, during the first training the children were given an introduction to the tools and how to make products. And in the second training, is the process of making a product with the assistance of the teacher.
Not only providing training, CP Prima also helped market products made by the children from the Bin Students Disability Orphanage by inviting several shop owners selling pet food and accessories for cat toys, visiting and witnessing the training process. In addition, CP Prima through the Pet Food Business Unit became the first customer to order products made by the orphanage children with a total order of 600 pcs of toys and cat necklace accessories.
It is hoped that with this program, besides being able to add knowledge for foster children, the skills that will be acquired will also be useful and help fulfill their life needs.
