CP Prima values our customer’s farming sustainability, productivity and profitability. Our Technical Research and Development Division has a mission to ensure continuous development of aquaculture technology and their deployment, to assure the quality of our shrimp/fish fry, and to provide reliable technical support for our farmers. Furthermore, our extensive national and international networks ensure up-to-date information and adaptation of progress in aquaculture technology that would benefit our farmers.
Quality Assurance (QA) department ensures that only the high-quality of shrimp Post Larvae (PLs) are produced in CP Prima hatcheries. Our quality control and shrimp health monitoring system screen and select for the best growth and health status of PLs for harvesting and distribution to the farms. Our QA department also establishes and maintains system that comply with the standard of national and international certification bodies, such as:
- Cara Pembenihan Ikan yang Baik (CPIB)
- Cara Karantina Ikan yang Baik (CKIB)
- Best Aquaculture Practice (BAP)
- GlobalGAP
- Aquaculture Stewardship Council (ASC)
Thus, adding more values to our customer’s farming operation. The laboratories are equipped with an advanced instruments and diagnostic tools for reliable and accurate determination of our fry health status. The molecular diagnostic laboratories routinely participate in international PCR-ring test, conducted by University of Arizona, to maintain and to confirm the quality of our PLs health declaration.
CP Prima believes that shrimp/fish health management is an essential part of a successful farming. Continuous monitoring of water quality and shrimp/fish health status in the ponds, and immediate precautionary technical adjustment will reduce the risk of production failure and improve the farming productivity.
The Animal Health Service department has established several regional labs and technical service team to provide reliable and competent monitoring and technical support for our farmers. We work together with farmers to find solution to problem that arise during culture. Furthermore, our extensive service coverage, intensive monitoring service, and reliable problem-solving skills had put us at the forefront of shrimp/fish health management in Indonesia aquaculture industry.
CP Prima had established several research facilities and run continuous research programs that focus on improvement in hatchery technology, farming technology and disease mitigation. The vast knowledge gathered in the research and the developed technologies are translated into technical adjustment and improvement on the field that benefits our farmers. A continuous information feed-back from the field also enables us to conduct researches that provide solution to current and future farming issues.
